That's so true for your written work. When you speak though, you can use appropriate gestures, facial expressions and tone of voice to underpin what you say. And - if there's no time limit - you can always describe what you mean, if you can't think of the right word :-)

Many native English speakers say "between you and I", but that's actually incorrect. Why? Because a preposition (e.g. with, for, behind, about, next to, without, between etc.) is always followed by 'me', not 'I'. 🙂

The easiest way to find out what it should be is to say the sentence without the 'you', and if 'I' sounds correct, it's 'you and I', and if 'me' sounds correct, then it's 'you and me'. Examples: (You and) I need to talk. The chocolates are for (you and) me. #WednesdayWisdom
